My name is Kelly M. Tran and I’m an avid game player and scholar. I believe deeply in video games and their ability to promote learning (and general goodness in the world).
My work focuses on the social context of video games and game design. Why do we play? Who do we play with? What do the games we play say about us and society? And how do connections between players foster fun, deep, and interest-driven learning?
To that end, I’ve focused on both designers of games and players of games, and how people position themselves as both. Head over to my projects page to read more about what I’m working on!
